Trailer for Dracula: The Un-Dead Hits the Web

We've been telling you about the official print follow-up to Bram Stoker's Dracula for a while now. Dacre Stoker, Bram Stoker’s great-grandnephew, has penned a sequel to the original novel along with Long Island screenwriter Ian Holt, which even has the official backing of the Stoker Estate, the first to have such a designation since the original film adaptation starring Bela Lugosi. Now that the book is in the can, a promotional trailer has hit the web.

TIFF 09: Sony Acquires REC 2

Good things are coming out of the Toronto Film Festival in terms of distribution. After a mucho successful screening and amidst some really positive buzz, it seems as if REC 2 (review here) has scored itself some Stateside distribution.

Saw VI TV Spot Shows Off New Footage

October. It's just in the air, man! Halloween candy, the smell of candles burning inside of freshly carved jack-o-lanterns, and the rotting entrails of several people who were unlucky enough to start playing one hell of a game. I lost count of exactly how many Silent Night, Deadly Night films there were. Let's see ... there was the classic original flick that caused quite a stir. So much so that they barely filmed any original footage for its sequel Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 and things just sort of went batshit crazy from there. Bill Moseley was involved, there were brain pans, killer toys, Egyptian cults ... you name it. Lionsgate announced today that they will be bringing three of those crazy-ass sequels home in one shiny three-disc box set.
