Continuing his trend of posting pictures from the set of his new film, Rob Zombie today posted a pic of Caroline (TCM2) Williams in character.

It’s not greenlit yet so technically this isn’t official, but industry insiders are reporting that New Line and Platinum Dunes are actively developing a sequel to their Friday the 13th reboot, with writers Damien Shannon and Mark Swift back working on the script again.

As promised by the man himself, the first image from his upcoming sequel to Halloween, cleverly titled Halloween 2, has hit the Net!

All right, this is just weird but it’s one of those things that I feel like if we ignore, we’ll be the only ones not talking about it. A scooper dropped us a line today with intel that Kevin Williamson is on board to write not just one, but three new Scream films, rebooting the franchise with a whole new trilogy.

It’s a small thing, but at this point we’ll take any updates we can get regarding Ghostbusters 3, which has gone from wild rumor to solid fact in the course of a few short months.

Some interesting news came in earlier tonight from someone close to the production of Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. Despite the film rolling tomorrow, yet another cast member has signed on to increase the sequel's horror pedigree, this time it's The Exorcist's Eileen Dietz.

The full trailer for S. Darko: A Donnie Darko Tale (as it’s now being called) showed up this weekend over at the film’s official site, but you can just check it out below if you like. This time there’s actual footage from the film, unlike in the "teaser trailer" we showed you a few days ago!

I will admit it’s not really horror, but I can’t help but get excited for the new Chronicles of Riddick game, Assault on Dark Athena. Today Atari dropped a new trailer for the game and defying all logic (since it’s really not horror), I’ve added it to our video playlist. So check it out, damnit!

I really don’t get why people are so obsessed with the Twilight sequel, New Moon, especially since the first film was more or less universally slammed for sucking, but we just go with the flow ‘round here most of the time, even if it is confusing.

Do you remember an Artisan DVD release from a few years back called S.I.C.K. (reivew), an acronym that stood for Serial Insane Clown Killer?
