We hate it when a plan falls apart. A couple of weeks ago, or was it last week? (so much new; so few brain cells)... Anyway, previous reports of a rare print of The Shining with an alternate ending being shown in New York have proven false.

Oh, how we wish we were based out of Rochester, New York. Why? Because the Stanley Kubrick terror-driven tour de force The Shining will be playing up on the big screen like you've never seen it before.

Is there a more iconic scene in recent memory than that T-Rex looking at the kids through the window of the SUV, pupil dilating with the sweep of the flashlight, moments before he smashes the thing to scrap metal? I don't think so. And now you'll be able to experience it in all its glory on the big screen once again.

An American Werewolf in London is starting up where it left off in a planned screening of the film in London, UK. Curzon Cinemas is making this more than just a screening; included will be live music and booze in their 'Slaughtered Lamb' themed bar, special guests will do the introductions, and lots of other little things will be included in the festivities.

A new ghostly story is due out for theaters this coming weekend, but for the people of one city in the Canadian north, it just might arrive a bit early. A fund raising party in aid of the Canadian Film Centre will be running the film tomorrow night - that's Wednesday, March 25th, at 7 pm!
