Screamfest LA
On Saturday, October 22nd, 2011, the eleventh annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival Awards were held in Hollywood, California, to celebrate the ten days of original horror programming which had preceded it, most notably the China Brothers’ Crawl (which took home awards for Best Director and Best Cinematography). Today results were released for the fest’s Screenplay Competition, and we’ve got ‘em. Read on for the winners!
In a continuation of its historic support of horror filmmakers (and in anticipation of its 11th Annual Horror Film Festival taking place this October in Hollywood), Screamfest LA is throwing a FREE mixer on Thursday, August 4th in Beverly Hills at the Vampire Lounge & Tasting Room from 7:30–11:30 pm.

Dread hit the black carpet of the tenth annual Screamfest LA for the festival’s sixth day, and brought back some video interviews with the filmmakers of the Los Angeles premiering features Tucker & Dale vs Evil, and MTV’s upcoming My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2.
The 2010 Screamfest Film Festival just keeps plugging along and bringing fans some really great horror features along the way. Last night was no exception as Dread Central hit the premiere of the upcoming psychological thriller Rogue River.
On Sunday, October 10th, Screamfest LA hosted the premiere of sci-fi thriller Altitude, which is being released later this month DTV by Anchor Bay. On hand for the event was director Kaare Andrews, who was not only celebrating the premiere of Altitude but the debut of his first full-length feature as well.
