Scott Buck Digs Up Dirt on Dexter Finale

With the exception of our own Matt Fini, I don’t know many people who could tolerate the final season of “Dexter.” Especially the last episode, which for my money ranks as one of the biggest misfires in television history. So what went wrong?
If you’re still interested, Showtime released a new featurette that sees executive producer Scott Buck reflecting back on the disappointing finale. Honestly, it’s nothing that we haven’t really seen or heard before. More points about Dexter’s arc… yadda yadda yadda.
Know what would be refreshing? If someone would just for once say, “Yeah, we fucked up; sorry about that,” instead of trying even after a year to pointlessly defend every bad choice made. Come on, guys. Where’s your code?
