Scare RI

It’s been a long time since we heard anything about the Scare RI screenwriting contest we first told you about way back in September of 2007. So long, in fact, that I was beginning to wonder if anything were going to come of it at all...

A few months back we gave you guys a heads up about a very unique screenwriting contest going down in the tiny state of Rhode Island called ScareRI (“Attention all R.I. Screenwrtiers!” – September 2007). Unlike most screenwriting competitions, though, this one actually seems to be coming to fruition!

We recently received word from Ryan Murphy of ScareRI about a very cool sounding event being held this coming weekend in Providence, Rhode Island.
