Looks like another rock star has made the jump from stage to film. Linkin Park fans will be happy to know that frontman Chester Bennington is indeed in the latest entry into the Saw franchise. People who hate Linkin Park will be happy to know that they will have the chance to see him tortured this October. Look for Saw 3D in theatres nationwide this October 29th. Synopsis:

I guess Lionsgate is keeping its Saw fans who are on dial-up in mind as they've released a static version of the latest Saw 3D motion poster, which reminds us that even psychos like Jigsaw have a heart. Albeit a black one, but still!

The opening footage from Saw 3D played again recently at London's Movie Con, and with a full report has come a new image. A third motion poster for the seventh entry into what has been dubbed the "most successful horror franchise" in history by the Guinness Book of World Records, Saw 3D, has shown up online; and this one shows that this series' black heart is very much still beating!

While we're still very skeptical of this news as Hollywood lives by the mantra "if it makes money, make more of them", apparently Saw 3D's writers are sticking to their guns about this being the last.

One of the most shocking things about the Saw 3D footage shown at Comic-Con was that it took place outside. While doing their thing at San Diego's big dance, director Kevin Greutert and star Tobin Bell talked a little bit about going public.

Rumored to be the last in the series (though if you believe that, I have nice shiny copies of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter and Freddy's Dead to show you), we're all hoping that Saw 3D goes out with a splat. If the first eight minutes of footage shown offsite at this year's Comic-Con is any indication of what's to come, then things are looking wonderfully dark!

Just hours after we debuted the first official one-sheet for Saw 3D, Lionsgate has finally released the first still from the film that was teased in Entertainment Weekly a couple of days ago.

If there's one thing you simply have to applaud about the Saw franchise, it is the various marketing campaigns for each film. Simply put, the one-sheets have always - and we mean always - kicked ass and totally served to get fans in ... shall we say ... the spirit of things. So what will we see on the first-ever one-sheet for the seventh entry into Lionsgate's mega-franchise? The wait is over.
