According to Deadline Twisted Pictures, the company behind the Saw series and other genre films, has made an output and distribution deal with Wild Bunch. Read on for details.
Anyone who believed that Saw 3D was going to be the last film in the storied franchise is in for a shock. Freddy's not dead, Friday 4 wasn't the final chapter, and Lionsgate has breathed the first words about another Saw flick.
Are you all caught up on the very cool Trick 'r Treat shorts FEARnet has been putting out over the past several months? In honor of the Halloween holiday and the all-day Trick 'r Treat marathon they'll be running on the 31st, the network has released four more new videos entitled Trick 'r Treat: 4 Rules. In addition they've made a huge announcement about FEARnet's slate of Halloween and year-round programing initiatives that are sure to satisfy horror fans' thirst for genre content through 2012.

Lionsgate's doing something a little different with the latest poster for Saw 3D. They're asking fans to visit the Saw Facebook page, "like" them in order to see the poster, and then share it with their friends.

Even with Saw 3D just a few months away, the franchise is poised to enter into the Guinness Book of World Records as the most successful horror franchise.
There has been much talk about last year's battle between the Saw franchise and the indie underdog Paranormal Activity. By the time all was said and done, PA had scored a decisive knock-out victory in terms of box office bang. Still, the fanbase has remained insanely divided. That being said, the question beckons ...
