Universal Chief Ron Meyer Has Some Choice Words for The Wolfman and More!

Sometimes movies get made that just don’t live up to expectations. No matter how you slice it, a lame duck is nothing more than that … a lame friggin’ duck. Or in this case a lame wolf. Read on for some amusing insight.

Recently Universal Chief Ron Meyer took a trip to the Savannah College of Art & Design, where he spoke to students on VOD, while also admitting that a lot of Universal’s flops, namely Cowboys & Aliens, Land of the Lost and The Wolfman, all suck! Hooray for honesty!

“We make a lot of shitty movies. Every one of them breaks my heart,” Meyer said. “We set out to make good ones. One of the worst movies we ever made was ‘Wolfman.‘ ‘Wolfman’ and ‘Babe 2’ are two of the shittiest movies we put out, but by the same token we made movies we believe in,” he states quickly, doing some damage control.
