Rogue Pictures to Open The Dark Fields in 2011

We finally have a release date for Neil Burger’s feature film adaptation of The Dark Fields. Look for the flick to hit theatres nationwide on March 18th, 2011. Yes, that seems like one hell of a wait but some things are just worth it.
The movie will feature Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks and the great Robert De Niro and is being touted as being a thriller in the vein of Fight Club and The Game.
The Dark Fields is based on the book by Alan Glynn, follows a down-and-out writer (Cooper) who gets his hands on a top-secret pharmaceutical drug that makes one smarter. He experiences sudden financial and social success but soon discovers that the drug has lethal and lasting side effects. Before long, mysterious antagonists are pursuing him.
