AFM 2011: Robots, Zombies, and Humans Wage a Battle of the Damned

A few days ago I reviewed an import DVD of Christopher Hatton’s Robotropolis, essentially a zombie outbreak flick with killer robots in lieu of the undead. I remember first reporting on the Adrian Paul/Danny Trejo killer robot flick Eyeborgs back in 2005, and ever since we would go long periods of time before hearing anything new. Five years later Eyeborgs will finally be coming home to a DVD player near you this summer.

Spielberg to Usher in the Robopocalypse?

Steven Spielberg has been actively involved in the sci-fi genre for years so it’s no surprise to learn that he may be considering stepping behind the cameras for another invasion flick. This time, though, it’s not aliens that are hell bent on obliterating mankind, but killer robots.
