Actor Robert Sheehan to Attend Free NYC Bad Samaritan Screening Next Thursday

As you know, Dread Central will be hosting a free screening of director Dean (Independence Day) Devlin’s edge-of-your-seat suspense thriller Bad Samaritan next Thursday, April 19, at the fabulous Brooklyn Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (445 Albee Square West; 718-513-2547).
Now joining Devlin for a Q&A will be the film’s star, Robert Sheehan (pictured below). The busy Irish actor has appeared in a bunch of genre films and TV series, including Mute, Moon, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Season of the Witch and Misfits. His future projects include the Peter Jackson production Mortal Rivers and The Umbrella Academy, based on the graphic novel. Dread’s Tony Timpone moderates. Doors open at 7 pm.
In Bad Samaritan, a valet (Sheehan) develops a clever scam to burglarize the houses of rich customers. Things go smoothly until he robs the wrong guy (David Tennant of “Doctor Who” and “Jessica Jones”) and discovers a woman being held captive in his home. Afraid of going to prison, he leaves the woman there and makes a call to the police, who find nothing when they investigate. Now the valet must endure the wrath of the sadistic kidnapper, who seeks revenge on him, all while desperately trying to find and rescue the distraught prisoner he left behind.
