Just like every year, Screamfest L.A. is shaping up to be the horror film fest of 2011 with all manner of insanity planned, including the world premiere of Eric England's Madison County!

One thing there's definitely not a shortage of nowadays is kickass horror comics ready and waiting to be adapted into feature films. Next on the block is Alan Robert's Wire Hangers, a horror/crime graphic novel about a string of abductions in New York City.

The countdown is over, and today the official trailer for Madison County made its debut on the film's website. Of course we have it for you here as well!

A little while back Dread Central reported on Robert Hall of Almost Human stepping on board to oversee the special makeup effects on the upcoming indie horror film Madison County. During the Craft Awards portion of the 2010 Streamy Awards held the evening of April 7th, Robert Hall's Almost Human Digital Effects Studio took home two awards for its FearNet web series "Fear Clinic", which stars Robert Englund, Kane Hodder, Danielle Harris, and Lisa Wilcox.
