Here at Dread Central we try and service horror heads both young and old. That being said, we have a little something for the parents out there who are trying to raise their kids right - An exclusive clip from R.L. Stine's "The Haunting Hour". Just think, a few more years of this and your youngster will be up to Evil Dead in no time!
Kids need horror flicks too (gotta raise the little bastids right, dontcha know) so we're glad author R.L. Stine is here to allow them to cut their teeth of his friendly little horror stories.
Another project is on the way from Ghost House Pictures, the joint venture among Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Mandate’s Nathan Kahane. While we're still waiting on word about the previously announced Dibbuk Box and the remake of The Substitute, the shingle has slid another one in on us!
Ah, Goosebumps! You've served as horror training wheels for so many of today's fans. It's about time that you got a feature film adaptation! And so you shall!
If you were a child of the late Seventies/early Eighties (or have kids of your own), then no doubt you're more than a little familiar with R.L. Stine's series of children's horror fiction novellas known as Goosebumps. If so, Halloween will be coming early for you when two new collections of spooky Goosebumps stories scream onto DVD September 7th from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
You know what would be cosmic revenge for all the watered down PG13 nonsense we've been exposed to over the last several decades? If someone would take a story from children's author and Goosebumps creator R.L. Stine and turn it into an R-rated slaughterfest! Of course that's never going to happen, but a guy can dream, can't he?
