Adam Green and Dark Sky Films, in association with AMC Theaters, are opening Hatchet II unrated rather than cutting out the good stuff to please the MPAA. Last night Hatchet II made its Los Angeles premiere at the historic Egyptian Theatre, and since Dread Central was a co-sponsor of the horror-star-studded event, we were in full force to bring you guys back the goods.

So earlier this evening we broke the news first that Adam Green's Hatchet II landed itself an unrated release with a major theater chain, and there's no doubt that this is huge news for both Dark Sky and the Hatchet Army. But for the lucky fans in attendance at the standing room only Hatchet II panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, more goods were on the way!
