We first told you about Rider Strong (Cabin Fever)'s new flick The Darkening Sky way back in August, and now, just in time for AFM, the flick has gotten itself a brand spankin' new trailer.

Ezra Buzzington Wraps Shooting on Darkening Sky
Ezra Buzzington (look for him Friday in Halloween II) dropped Dread Central a line to give us a heads up about a new flick he recently wrapped called Darkening Sky, and while the actor remained tight-lipped on the overall story, he gave us the a taste of what could be a killer flick.

Rider Strong Faces a Darkening Sky
Cabin Fever's Rider Strong is about to deal with a lot more than just a nasty flesh-eating virus in the new indie sci-fi/horror/psychological thriller hybrid Darkening Sky. Good thing for him he has a pretty killer cast along with him to shoulder the threat from this new menace.

Ready for Some Spring Fever?
According to the Hollywood Reporter, "reports of Rider Strong's death in Cabin Fever have been exaggerated." What that means for fans of the film is that Strong's character Paul will indeed be returning in the sequel, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, along with the strangely endearing Deputy Winston (Giuseppe Andrews).

West Catches a Second Fever
I guess the question of whether a sequel to Eli Roth’s debut film Cabin Fever is or is not necessary is moot since we’re not really the ones to make such calls (yet), so we move on and hope Lionsgate has our best interests in mind when banging out a sequel.
