Exclusive Images From Director Richard John Taylor’s ‘The Picture Of Dorian Gray’

Director Richard John Taylor has provided Dread Central with several exclusive images from his upcoming adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray, which was filmed in Italy earlier this year.

Based on the classic 1890 novel by Oscar Wilde, Taylor’s adaptation stars Leone Kessel as Dorian Gray. The supporting cast includes Lizzy Willis, Steve Wraith, Lacey Bond, Triana Terry, and Allison Blair, with legendary cult actress Rula Lenska providing narration. Seeing as the movie is now in post-production, we can expect distributor High Fliers Films to announce a release date in the near future. Until then, Taylor also provided us with the following exclusive statement about the project:

‘Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray is a story I’ve wanted to tell for years, but the amalgamation of finding the right actors in Leone Kessel and Lizzy Willis, and in the setting of the timeless beauty of Matera made this the right time to finally bring the project to life.’

Some of Taylor’s previous films include The Krays: Dead Man Walking, Vengeance, Muse, The Haunting of Pendle Hill, and The Winter Witch. He is clearly one of the busiest people working in the entertainment industry today, as The Picture of Dorian Gray is just one of several upcoming films he has in development. You can view the exclusive images from his new adaptation of the esteemed Victorian novel in the gallery below.
