BCI has just dropped another two Eighties flicks on us as part of their Exploitation Cinema series, and this time? This time I couldn't be happier. You see, when I was growing up the movie Mausoleum was one of my favorites. Why? Because it featured a demon-bitch with devil faces on her boobs! Isn't that reason enough? For years the only way to come across this rare flick was to hunt down the old VHS tape or find a vendor at a con with a DVD-r bootleg. Now that it's readily available for public consumption we should all rejoice!

Mausoleum tells the tale of Susan Nomed (the insanely hot Bresee). In case you didn't notice, Nomed spelled backwards is ... oh, screw it! If you couldn't figure that one out on your own, you're an idiot! Anyways, after the death of her mom, young Susan was exposed to the family curse that would eventually turn her into a vicious demon after she visited her brood's mausoleum. Of course this demonic prophecy is fulfilled and the nude scenes and body count pile up splendidly.

The creature F/X by John Carl Buechler is primitive but who cares?!? We get bouncing shower-wet boobs, a decent and bloody body count, and did I mention the devil-faced bangers? No? Then allow me to again ... the monster in this flick has devil faces where this chick's jahoobies are supposed to be. That alone is worth the price of the DVD!

But wait there's more! Also included here is the little seen 1982 slasher film Blood Song starring Frankie Avalon (yes, that Frankie Avalon) which sadly does not feature any creatures with Satan-faces on their chests. Instead we get a whistling psycho who hunts down a woman he once gave a blood transfusion to. Don't ask me. I didn't write it. Honestly this flick kind of sucks, but it does have some of that vintage Eighties charm that we love so much.

It should be noted that both prints of the films presented here kind of suck. Every type of film deterioration is present and accounted for, so don't expect some incredible restoration. These authentic scratches and pops just add to the movie's charm.

As with the other discs in this series, both flick are presented here Grindhouse style with cool posters and a virtual dive movie theatre for you to explore. The only extras are a few trailers, but hey -- there's Demon Tits. Enough said.
