The Babyface Killer Short Film Review – Gruesome, Graphic, And Not For Prospective Parents!

Starring Vic Varriale, Xiomara Forman, Juliet Picard

Directed by Matthew Forte

The Sin Reapers story lives on with The Forte Brothers’ graphically unsettling short film, The Babyface Killer, and it’s safe to say that this little quickie will NOT be on the Planned Parenthood’s website – OUCH.

This 13 minute short film gives us the backstory as to how The Babyface Killer got his start, and the results are no less violent than you could imagine. Centering around the killer and his wife after suffering a horrific loss, his mental framework breaks down, and the opportunity to give his beloved the gift she’s always wanted presents itself, and it’s quite the distressing scenario.

It’s a simplistic look at a man who’s just been topped off with his share of everyday nuisances, and he responds with blistering bouts of sudden violent outbreaks. The Forte’s have no apologies for this presentation’s brutality, and I wouldn’t expect any less – it’s shocking, saddening and most importantly sets the stage for (hopefully) more of a continuation to a story that needs extension. Give this one a look when it becomes available to the masses.

3.5

Summary

A short film that wastes no time, nor apologies for its intently graphic content.
