Return of the Living Dead and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) Hitting Blu-ray in September

Two mega-hit fan favorites are on their way to Blu-ray high definition this fall, and that means that it is now officially “paaarrrtttyyyy tiiiimmmmeeeee” in 1080p!
According to Hi Def Digest the 1978 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers starring Donald Sutherland and the Dan O’Bannon classic Return of the Living Dead will be hitting home and looking hopefully very sexy on September 14th.
There’s no artwork or even official specs to be announced just yet, but we will be keeping our ears to the ground and our eyes peeled, whatever the hell all that journalistic jazz means.
In the interim dig on the trailers for each below and just fantasize about how friggin’ sweet these releases could very well look, especially Linnea Quigley’s merkin!
