Just a quick update concerning two movies we've been covering. Sony Screen Gems has confirmed a couple of date changes for their upcoming genre flicks. Read on to find out when you can expect Resident Evil - Afterlife and Repo Men.

Despite not having released any details regarding the cast or even its director to media outlets, Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth theatrical installment in the franchise, will begin filming in late September in Toronto.

It was only a matter of time before some news surrounding the fourth Resident Evil film would rise to the surface. What is it? Who's directing it? Will we have to suffer through another Paul W.S. Anderson screenplay? Well, some of those questions have been answered today.

As an early Christmas presents for fans everywhere, IGN got word today that Paul W.S. Anderson is currently working on the script for Resident Evil IV! It’s so exciting I can barely contain myself.

Love using that picture. Anyway, Paul W.S. Anderson, the man who loves putting his own fan fiction spin on many loved movies, comics and video game titles may once again grace us all with his version of Resident Evil.

It was starting to look like maybe we’d seen the last of the Resident Evil films and perhaps could go back to just looking forward to the game's sequels. Then Paul W.S. Anderson has to go shoot his mouth off to MTV, and I realize we may never see the end of it...
