Marilyn Manson Dropped from Record Label + CREEPSHOW Episode Won’t Air

Marilyn Manson exists at the intersection of hard rock and horror; the shock-rocker born Brian Warner has been a staple of music and genre culture for decades. Following allegations of severe abuse, however, Manson’s career is likely over.

Manson’s ex-girlfriend/ex-fiance Evan Rachel Wood made the abuse claims on Instagram, stating she was brainwashed and manipulated. Her post was followed by four other women releasing similar statements.

“I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent,” Wood wrote.

In solidarity with these survivors, Manson has been dropped by his record label, Loma Vista Recordings; they released a statement that read:

“In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately. Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”

An upcoming episode of Creepshow featuring Marilyn Manson will also be shelved. AMC, Shudder’s parent company, stated the episode will not air and will be replaced.

Mason’s response to these allegations can be found HERE. He states, in part:

“Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality.”
