It's finally happening, folks! Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's celebration of gory B-movies, Grindhouse, will be coming home to Blu-ray high definition this fall, complete and with faux trailers intact, and we've got all of the details for you!
Sooner or later it is going to happen. The great Quentin Tarantino will surely be directing a horror movie. The guy's buddies with Eli Roth and has been in several particularly gory creature related affairs thanks to long-time collaborator Robert Rodriguez. It's almost hard to believe he hasn't made one already.
Two of Hollywood's most famous Basterds are still on each other's side! Eli Roth's big budget opus Endangered Species is one flick we've been really looking forward to since it was announced last spring. Now it appears that Roth is closer than ever to getting back behind the camera to film the movie thanks in part to some great script notes made by Quentin Tarantino.
As Foy reported back in September, Roger Corman was selected to receive an Honorary Oscar by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Sadly, he won't be a big part of the Oscar telecast in March of 2010; instead, the awards ceremony was held this past Saturday at the Governor's Ball.

Our man on the scene, Sean Clark, got a chance to visit the set of Midnight Meat Train a few days back (lucky sonofabitch) and told us that it kicked a lot of ass. Of course you’re going to have to wait to read more about it as they’re being tight-lipped on the details for now, but at least you have something to look forward to, right?

Tarantino brought him back, briefly, for a role in Kill Bill, but now he’s handing Larry Bishop (pictured) a wad of cash to bring a badass-sounding blood-and-sex-soaked tale of revenge to the big screen.
