Spooky Records Shattered in The Guinness Book of World Records 2014 Edition!Crazy carvers! Sizable sweets! Prodigious pumpkin pies! The fall is upon us, and with it comes the most terrifying of all holidays: Halloween! To celebrate, the ghoulish record keepers at Guinness World Records have summoned up their favorite frightening feats!

From the frozen lakes of Norway to the coast of California, Guinness World Records has dug up plenty of skeletons – er, Halloween records – from its closets. We’ve listed some of our favorites from The Guinness Book of World Records 2014 Edition!

The Fastest Time To Carve One Ton Of Pumpkins is 3 hours 33 minutes 49 seconds, achieved by Stephen Clarke at Harrah’s Casino Resort, Atlantic City, NJ on October 29, 2008.

Most Body Modifications by a Female at 49 mods was achieved by “Vampire Lady” Maria Jose Cristerna (pictured; right) of Mexico.

The Largest Pumpkin Pie weighed 2,020 lbs and measured 12 ft 1 in long. It was made by New Bremen Giant Pumpkin Growers in Ohio, USA, on October 8, 2005.

The Heaviest Pumpkin weighed 2,009 lbs when it was presented by Ron Wallace at the New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off at Topsfield Fair in Topsfield, Massachusetts on September 28, 2012.

The Most People Wearing Costume Masks was 27,080, organized by Angels Baseball at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, USA, on May 10, 2011.

The Largest Butterscotch Candy was made by Nidar, Trondheim, Norway and weighed 3,527 lbs. The Smorbukk variety of candy was displayed at the Nidar factory on August 12, 1997. The giant candy measured 5.02 ft x 5.02 ft x 17.7 in and was a scaled up version of the original product that is commercially available in Norway.
