Predators Hunt Marvel Superheroes In New Variant Covers

After obtaining the rights to publish Alien and Predator comics following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, Marvel released a series of variant comic covers featuring Xenomorphs battling characters from the Marvel Universe. Four months later, and the publisher has now issued a new series of variant covers showing their most well-known superheroes fighting Predators, and we think they look amazing.

The covers, which can be viewed in the gallery below, showcase characters such as the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Woman, Valkyrie, the Fantastic Four, and both the Peter Parker and Miles Morales iterations of Spider-Man going head-to-head with Predators, and they were illustrated by artists including Mattia de Iulis, Chris Sprouse, Jung-Geun Yoon, and Juan José Ryp. Only six of the variant covers have been revealed so far, although more will be shown over the coming weeks. The comics featuring the covers will be available in May, so we don’t have too long to wait for them.

Despite showcasing these covers, Marvel has not yet announced any new Predator comics, although they have promised to begin releasing new Predator stories later this year. And we can’t wait to hear what kinds of stories the House of Ideas has in store for the deadly species of alien hunters, so we’ll let you know as soon as we hear more details about Marvel’s upcoming Predator comic books.
