Lorelei and the Laser Eyes Solves Mystery in 2023

Central Europe has a distinct sort of aesthetic that is ripe for horror games. The old baroque manor, perhaps converted into a hotel or a museum, holds haunting secrets. A woman explores, hoping to find answers within the peeling paint and crumbling floors. Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is an upcoming title developed by Simogo and published by Annapurna Interactive. Expect it on the Nintendo Switch and PCs (via Steam) sometime next year. You can Wishlist it now, so if you’re intrigued by the mystery go ahead and show your support by doing so.

As the wandering woman, you’ll run into a few different characters during your exploration. First is an international author with mysterious wants and motives. Following him is a well-to-do artist murdered by an unknown assailant. Third is an illusionist and vagabond wrapped up in an enigma. And what drives the woman here to explore the dilapidated manor? Numbers, patterns, and puzzles will begin to emerge, things that can’t be simply explained away. Are they the components of a sick game, a conspiracy, a treasure hunt? Or is it possible the figures are mere nonsense? Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is a surreal nightmare wrapped up in a nonlinear adventure puzzle game.
