The Lovely Bones Is Fit for a Queen
Peter Jackson certainly has come a long way from his days of working on over-the-top genre fare such as Bad Taste and Dead Alive ... all the way to premiering his newest film, The Lovely Bones, at the Royal Film Performance 2009, an annual British charitable event attended by members of the Royal Family.

Peter Jackson Making His First Appearance at Comic-Con
Forget bus benches and billboards. The buzz behind District 9 just got a helluva lot louder with the announcement that Peter Jackson, one of the producers, will be making his first ever San Diego Comic-Con appearance in support of the film, which Sony is releasing August 14th.
UPDATED: Oh, Christ! Peter Jackson Back to Horror?
While the mainstream may know Peter Jackson from a series of small low-budget films like The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, horror fans know him from his very roots as a filmmaker when he was turning out fare like Bad Taste and Dead Alive. It was an amazing time to be a fan back then, and if all goes well, we may just be revisiting those glory days once more!
