Born on this day in 1973: Peter Facinelli

I don’t consider Twilight a horror film – other than it being horrifying to sit through – but some people do because it contains vampires and werewolves. Facinelli – who apparently almost didn’t read for the role because he didn’t want to be in a vampire film – played Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight series of films.

Besides Twilight, Facinelli’s genre projects include The Scorpion King, Hollow Man II, The Damned, and Countdown.
