We just received word about a charity auction that has some of the coolest items you can imagine. How does the original first draft of Blade Runner grab you? That’s up for grabs as well as loads of other items donated by Ridley Scott, Guillermo del Toro and more!
Paul’s Brain Trust is a group of friends who have rallied together to support the family of film producer Paul Prischman, who lost his battle to brain cancer two years ago. This is the final auction the group will be holding, but it’s a massive one. Head over to the Paul’s Brain Trust website to find out more about the group and get a link to the auction. The bidding has already begun and ends this Sunday, June 10th. Loads of autographed items, movie props…autographed movie props, are available. In total there are 41 items being auctioned with an Alien prop head made from the original film mold signed by Ridley Scott currently going for the highest price at $3,000. But don’t worry; there’s something for every budget! Check it out!
About Paul’s Brain Trust
Paul’s Brain Trust is a group of friends close to Paul Prischman and his family, who have come together to coordinate auctions, movie screenings and other spectacular fundraising events, with all proceeds going to support Paul’s family. Paul lost his two-year battle with brain cancer on December 20, 2009.
The one-of-a-kind items in this auction were donated by Paul’s friends and colleagues in the film and home entertainment industry in the hope that the funds they generate could provide some financial support for Paul’s wife and daughters.
There’s something in the auction for everyone! From one-of-a-kind cinema history items like screenwriter Hampton Fancher’s original first draft of Blade Runner, prop replicas, and original production artwork signed by Ridley Scott and Guillermo del Toro to signed DVD’s, books, posters and soundtracks. The 7-day auction started on Sunday, June 3rd. and ends on Sunday June 10th.
