There hasn't been much news lately regarding Dorothy and the Witches of Oz, but with a limited theatrical run starting Friday, here's a new f/x-laden trailer for the dark family fantasy boasting Lance Henriksen, Jeffrey Combs, Mia Sara, Al Snow, Billy Boyd, Sean Astin, and Christopher Lloyd.

The other day we told you about Leigh Scott's Witches of Oz 3D and treated you to an outtake in which co-star Lance Henriksen worked with an uncooperative kitty. Today we have a promo trailer for the fantasy thriller that updates L. Frank Baum's classic kiddie tale.

Lance Henriksen has battled Aliens, Predator, Pumpkinhead, The Terminator, Sasquatch, and all manner of supernatural and sci-fi terrors. Who would have thought he would finally face his ultimate challenge in the form of an unfriendly pussycat. That's what happened during shooting of his latest, Witches of Oz, and we have video documentation of this epic encounter.

If I were America Olivo, I'd just stay in the city where it's safe. You may remember her from the Friday the 13th relaunch as the woman in the pre-title sequence who showed us her ample bosom and then got roasted alive in a sleeping bag. Now she's off to a tropical paradise that for her and others may very well prove to be The Last Resort.
