With all the promotional stops The CW has been pulling out for its new series "The Secret Circle", we were starting to think the network had forgotten about its big guns, "The Vampire Diaries". We shouldn't have worried as today comes a new promo video for "TVD" guaranteed to whet your appetite for its September 15th season premiere.

The small screen hasn't seen the end of Sebastian Roche, whom we last saw being stabbed by Castiel in the "Supernatural" season finale. The man's got himself both a new gig and a new menace to contend with!

The CW has released the "sizzle reel" for "The Vampire Diaries" that aired during last week's San Diego Comic-Con, which is mostly a recap of Season 2 but includes a quick teaser of Season 3. Don't look now...this season of "The Vampire Diaries" is sure to be indecent.

San Diego Comic-Con 2011 is now just a memory, but you can expect to see additional interviews, videos, and photos from the show over the coming days. First up we have Joseph Morgan and Paul Wesley from "The Vampire Diaries" discussing their new bond on the show, what it's like to play evil sons of bitches, and a lot more.

We'll admit it. "The Vampire Diaries" is not the chick show that we all thought it would be. Take a chance on it and you may just dig it. In any event Season 3 is approaching fast and we've got your very first look!

A couple of news items have come out recently regarding the upcoming Season 3 of The CW's popular show "The Vampire Diaries", specifically what the time frame of the new season will be and a new character for us to look forward to.

If you would have told us at the start of Season One of "The Vampire Diaries" that we'd end up really digging on the show, we'd have laughed at you. However, as with "Buffy" and "Angel", we've become strangely addicted. In any event Season Two of the titular show is on its way to home video, and we have all the details for ya! Tomorrow night, May 12th, is the second season finale of "The Vampire Diaries". Considering the title of the episode is "As I Lay Dying", we're pretty sure someone isn't going to make it to Season 3. Who will it be? Check out this new clip from the ep to see if it provides any insight.

Just one episode remains of this season of "The Vampire Diaries", and considering the title is "As I Lay Dying", we're pretty sure it's going to be a doozy. While we've been promised resolution of this season's story arc, we're also confident that exec producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec will be leaving us with a cliffhanger. Let's see if the finale's previews shed any light on things.

Yep, it's that time again. Time for us to remind those of you not watching "The Vampire Diaries" that you're missing out on one of the best, most unpredictable genre shows on TV. Coming up next week vamps, witches, and lycans prepare to do battle in the season's penultimate episode, "The Sun Also Rises". The question, however, is on whom is it about to set?

Oh, how The CW loves to tease the fans of its popular series "The Vampire Diaries". A few days ago they provided us with regular and extended previews of the upcoming Episode 20, "The Last Day", and now finally they've posted an official clip. Watch as Damon and Stefan debate Elena's decision to rely on Elijah as only those two loving brothers can.

We're coming down to the wire, fellow "The Vampire Diaries" fans. Just three episodes remain until we find out if Elena and the Salvatore brothers can stop Klaus' deadly mission. We love getting new info on upcoming episodes of "The Vampire Diaries", but with Season Two winding down in just a few weeks, we're tempted to tell The CW to SLOW DOWN a bit with the goods and let us savor the time we have left. Alas, we doubt they'd listen anyway so here are close to a dozen stills from the upcoming Episode 21, "The Sun Also Rises", the next to last ep of the season.

So, has everyone recovered from the "Is she dead? Is she alive?" roller coaster ride that was last night's episode of "The Vampire Diaries"? We certainly hope so because there is no rest for the wicked as The CW released today regular and extended previews of next week's ep, entitled "Klaus". Prepare to meet the oldest vamp on earth!
