Sometimes a fresh set of eyes is all you need to punch up and polish a script, and that's exactly what's happening when it comes to the latest film from the makers of The Host, Snow Piercer.
Okay, before we begin this particular story, let's be clear about something: We are not, repeat not, entirely sure that Tilda Swinton isn't in fact David Bowie or for that matter his alter ego Ziggy Stardust. That being said ...

It's been a while since last there was anything to talk about concerning Oldboy director Park Chan-wook's new thirty-minute short film Night Fishing, or Paranmanjang for you purists, which he shot using the Apple iPhone. However, now that the flick is getting set to make its Fantasia appearance, we have a trio of new stills for ya!
Just a few days ago we brought you the news that Oldboy director Park Chan-wook had filmed a new thirty-minute short film, Paranmanjang, using the Apple iPhone.
Here's something kind of cool that honestly we've been waiting for someone to do. Oldboy director Park Chan-wook has filmed his new thirty-minute short film, Paranmanjang, using the camera on the Apple iPhone.
Some really good news coming in that we're praying comes to fruition. It looks as if Park Chan-wook (Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, Thirst) is just about ready to make his first American film.
It's not a huge list of home video releases this week, but some pretty huge films are on it, including The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which is getting a midnight release this Saturday morning, March 20th. But we know that's not what you're here for -- more than likely you'll be picking up flicks like The Fourth Kind, Park Chan-wook's Vengeance Trilogy, and/or (our pick of the week) Ninja Assassin.
Well, what the hell, right? Since the proposed Oldboy remake has tanked, why not just remake another film in Park Chan-wook's Vengeance series?
Fans who missed Park Chan-wook's vampire opus Thirst (review here) when it played in a limited capacity in theatres won't have to wait very long for the film's DVD release. In fact, it's right around the corner.
Are you a member of the unlucky group whose home town didn't get a screening of Park Chan-wook's Thirst? Do you feel like, for whatever reason, you're just destined not to see the film? Or maybe you have seen it and are full of questions for its creator. In either case, a new contest from Palisades Tartan might be just what the priest prayed for ... or something like that.
With the release of Park Chan-wook's Thirst into select theatres this weekend, it only makes sense that we give away some free swag in celebration of this toothy occasion!
