With production likely to begin in March, all eyes are on Rob Zombie to deliver a new original feature so that he can officially shed the skin of remakes past.

Barry Levinson's The Bay is shooting as we speak and the ever-so-vigilant DC reader Avery sent us over information on this upcoming eco-thriller to share by the boatload!

Word has just come in that Rob Zombie is gearing up to start shooting his next film, The Lords of Salem, this spring. It's good to have the man back working on his own original material. The film has been put together by Haunted Films, the company run by the Paranormal Activity team of Jason Blum, Steven Schneider and Oren Peli.

In just a few more days Paranormal Activity 2 will be hitting home video, and to prime you for the horrors to come, we have five clips from the movie for you! Be warned, though ... ABC is certainly not skimping when it comes to ordering up new pilots as today the network greenlit 6 new ones, 3 of which sound like they fit into the genre at least partially, including horror/drama "The River", which Paranormal Activity creator Oren Peli is executive producing with his partners Jason Blum and Steven Schneider as well as DreamWorks TV's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.

The pinnacle of Internet truth and reliability, the IMDB, is reporting that Christopher Landon will be returning to the Paranormal Activity franchise to write the series' third entry. Of course we decided to dig a bit to get to the heart of the matter.
