New York Comic-Con (NYCC) organizers have announced that they will hold a special "One Year Out" Bowling Party on Thursday, October 8, 2009, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Bowlmor Lanes, 110 University Place, just South of Union Square in New York City.

NYCC: DC Direct World of Warcraft Figures
Here at Dread Central, we love us some monsters. In all shapes, sizes, and genres even! Though we never once have mentioned the phenomenon that is World of Warcraft on here, the game is home to lots of cool beasties, and all cool beasties deserve their own action figure damn it!

NYCC: Diamond Select Plans Ghostbusters Mini-Mates!
Nomad just dropped us word from the floor of the New York Comic Con that Diamond Select is working on a series of Ghostbusters Mini-Mates!
Details were not forthcoming, but I’m sure all four Busters will be represented, and hopefully a ghost or two as well. Maybe the Ecto-1 as an accessory? The mind reels with possibilities...
