I've been to plenty of festivals and seen my share of short horror films but few have been as, er, eye-opening as Richard Gale's "Criticized". First seen at last year's Screamfest LA, this lil' slice of dementia has gone on to hit almost every genre festival under the sun and already garnered over ten awards and nominations.
Packed with wit, squirm-inducing imagery, and black humor, "Criticized" tells the story of demented horror director Arthur Lements (Brian Rohan) who kidnaps a renowned film critic for giving his movie a negative review. Needless to say, things get rather unpleasant.
