Toy Fair 08: Mezco's Cinema of Fear!

All right, so NECA’s stuff is pretty cool, but I can’t help but geek out a bit for Mezco’s Cinema of Fear series. Looks like they’ll be back in force in 2008, as Action Figure just posted the first pics from the upcoming lineup.

For the Screen Grabs, we’ll be getting a scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) of Leatherface doing what he does best, Jason tangling with a hapless victim underwater, and two scenes from A Nightmare on Elm Street; Freddy’s appearance over Nancy’s bed right before his big slaughter, and the infamous “glove shark” scene!

Looks like there will also be stand-alone figures, though we’re not sure yet if they’ll be the standard 7” or taller. Check out the images below and be sure to hit up A-F for the full Mezco gallery, which includes new Living Dead Dolls, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, The Warriors and more!
