Vampire Diaries: Two Webclips from The Turning Point

Week in and week out we keep finding more to like about The Vampire Diaries. Whether it's the death of someone we thought was a recurring character or the reappearance of another character presumed dead who's now a vampire, the show never fails to surprise ... and entertain ... us.

Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries: Webclips from this Week's Episodes

It's only Monday, but already our thoughts are turning to Thursday night, and The CW is happy to help us get ready for the latest installments of our guiltiest pleasures: Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries.

Vampire Diaries: 162 Candles Webclips

Two new webclips for "162 Candles", this week's episode of The CW's breakout hit of the year, The Vampire Diaries, have hit online, and we've got both of them here for your viewing pleasure.

Two Clips from Vampire Diaries Halloween Episode - Haunted

The CW is pulling out all the stops to make sure fans don't forget about tonight's Halloween themed episode of The Vampire Diaries, entitled "Haunted", going so far as to provide two sneak peeks of the show.

Vampire Diaries Gets Full Season Pickup; Synopses & Stills from Eps. 7 & 8

If you wrote off The CW's The Vampire Diaries as nothing more than "Dawson's Twilight", then you obviously haven't been watching the show. Stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley are hitting all the rights notes in their portrayals of star-crossed lovers Elena and Stefan, and we doubt you can find a villain on TV right now who's more fun than Ian Somerhalder's Damon. So it comes as no surprise that the network has given a full season order of 22 episodes for the series.

The CW Shares Three Sneak Peeks of Vampire Diaries - Lost Girls

Each week The CW's The Vampire Diaries grows on us a little bit more as the plot thickens and we learn the characters' back stories. And this week's episode, "Lost Girls", promises more of the latter as flashbacks reveal why the tensions between brothers Stefan and Damon started. To help whet your appetites, The CW has provided three preview clips.

Vampire Diaries Gives The CW Its Best Premiere Ever

The jury's still out as far as we're concerned as to whether or not "The Vampire Diaries" has what it takes to catch on with hardcore horror fans, but they may not need us anyway ... The show's first episode that aired last night appears to be The CW's most-watched series premiere ever with 4.8 million viewers (subject to final verification later today).

New Previews for The CW's Vampire Diaries and Supernatural

Those of you who are of a certain age no doubt remember the phrase "Must See TV" and its application to NBC's Thursday night lineup of shows during the 1990's. It's been a while since any other network could make that same claim, but starting this Thursday, September 10th, it's possible horror fans will have their own "Must See TV" night on The CW thanks to the pairing of The Vampire Diaries with Supernatural.

Nina Dobrev Lands Lead in Vampire Diaries

Nina Dobrev, whom you may remember from the godawful "Fright Night" with a werewolf rip-off Never Cry Werewolf, has landed herself a new gig. One with a bit more bite.

Never Cry Werewolf This Weekend

It was just two weeks ago that I wrote about an upcoming werewolf movie entitled Never Cry Werewolf that seemed to owe more than a little to a certain other movie called Fright Night.

Never Cry Werewolf (But Can We Cry Rip-Off)

Take the movie Fright Night, change the teenage boy into a teenage girl and the vampire into a werewolf, replace his manservant with man's best friend, make the vampire-hunting TV horror movie host a rugged outdoorsmen TV hunting host instead, and you get the new lycanthrope chiller Never Cry Werewolf. All that's missing is finding out the lead character has a goth chick best friend nicknamed "Evil Edda".
