Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated
George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead is, of course, one of the most seminal horror films ever, having inspired countless filmmakers, artists and musicians over the years. Now some of those folks are looking to give back to the greatest zombie film ever made.
Under the auspices of the Facebook Comic-Con (a free virtual convention occurring through the architecture of Facebook), Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated (NOTLD:R) will be screening in its entirety from November 12th-15th.
It's been a while since we've mentioned Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated, but it looks like that's about to change if the message we got from the project's Facebook group is any indication. There is a LOT going on with it!
We've been talking about Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated for a while now here on Dread Central, and today Wild Eye Releasing unveiled a brand spanking new teaser poster to get us all sweaty with anticipation for its winter 2009 release.
The fine folks behind the animated version of Night of the Living Dead called appropriately enough Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated just checked in with some new artwork and a new trailer for us all to dig on!
It's been several months since we last told you about Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated. Too long if you ask me. Being that I know a thing or two about what it takes to be a Romero zombie, this project has had me pretty damned excited.
You may recall a while back we gave you all a heads up about an ambitious new project being put together that promises to show you Night of the Living Dead in a way you’ve never seen before: animated.
One good thing about George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead being in the public domain is that it allows all sorts of creative re-interpretations to be made of it. Granted the ones worth paying attention to are few and far between; for every 5 Night of the Living Dead 3D’s, we get something cool like NotLD: Reanimated.
