Paul Giamatti and Toby Jones Lead Cast of Luke Scott’s Morgan

It’s always cool to see the children of established filmmakers break out on their own, and Ridley Scott’s son Luke is set to do just that. Much like dad, Luke Scott is headed into sci-fi territory with his first feature film, and we’ve got all the details for ya today.
Per THR, Paul Giamatti and Toby Jones have joined the cast of Morgan, Fox’s sci-fi thriller being directed by Luke Scott. Boyd Holbrook is in negotiations to join the project as well.
Kate Mara and Anya Taylor-Joy, who starred in the Sundance horror breakout The Witch, are toplining the project that tells of a corporate risk-management consultant (Mara) who is summoned to a remote research lab to determine whether or not to terminate a genetically-engineered being (Taylor-Joy).
Giamatti will play a psychologist who has trouble relating to people while Jones will play the chief scientist in charge of the facility. Holbrook would be a nutritionist at the facility.
Ridley Scott is producing with his Scott Free companions Michael Schaefer and Elishia Holmes. George Heller is exec producing.
