If you just can’t get enough of found footage and/or zombies, then you’ll be wanting to keep an eye out for World War Dead, which hits UK DVD and Blu-ray on May 4 courtesy of Anchor Bay. To get you ready for battle, we’ve nabbed an exclusive clip and character image.
World War Dead: Rise of the Fallen stars Wendy Glenn, Kacey Barnfield, and Ray Panthaki and is directed by Freddie Hutton-Mills and Bart Ruspoli. Special features on the upcoming release include a behind-the-scenes featurette and a deleted scene.
Synopsis:
The Battle of The Somme marked one of the bloodiest battles in human history, wounding and killing 1,000,000 German and Allied soldiers in its wake. But… there was no winner.
Now, 100 years later, a documentary team – led by filmmaker Marcus Singh (Ray Panthaki – 28 Days Later) and Emma Washington (Wendy Glenn – You’re Next) – has traveled to the site to unveil the mysteries that led to that horrendous outcome. But what they unearth is something far worse than they could have imagined – the fallen armies, risen, with an agenda to settle the score.
