All three victims’ – young girls, aged 10 to 12 — first and last names also had matching initials. Despite questioning more than 800 suspects and the combined police resources of several communities, the case remains unsolved to this day.

Megan’s inability to capture, or even identify, the murderer causes an eventual breakdown in her personal life as well as her career. Her pursuit and frustration finally manifest into obsession, and she becomes plagued with hallucinations of the victims. Though faced with sketchy leads and no suspects, Megan is determined to catch the Alphabet Killer before he can claim another victim.
