Though there’s very little promise that the film will be good, the last prequel for the Hannibal Lecter series certainly didn’t set the expectations too high, I have to own up to a bit of curiosity regarding Hannibal Rising, despite the obvious cash-in that it is. The tale of Hannibal’s formative years will likely make us understand why he had to resort to being a monster who ate men’s livers with some fava beans and I really want to see how they pull that off. Rope of Silicon just got their hands on five new stills from the film, one of which you can see below (hit the link to see the rest), and that’s all we get for now. Hannibal Rising is due out February 9th, so expect to see a lot more from it very soon.
