There’s Trouble in Twin Peaks

Distressingly enough, it sounds as if we may not be getting our next servings of cherry pie and damned fine coffee after all. Or at least not as soon as hoped. Fansite “Welcome to Twin Peaks” is reporting some disturbing news.
During a sold-out Q&A event and conversation with David Strattan at QPAC, director and artist David Lynch was asked whether “Twin Peaks” is definitely happening. Lynch, breaking his self-imposed code of silence, responded: “I don’t know. There are complications.”
The show’s co-creator and director added it’s not a funding issue, but a trusted source told Welcome to Twin Peaks that while the scripts are finished after nearly four years in the making, contract negotiations aren’t going as expected.
I wouldn’t panic just yet; let’s all stay positive and hope for the best, shall we?
