All right, Texas, listen up. For those of you who have been making Friday Night Frights part of your weekend routine, I have to say two things: I hate you because you get something cool like that and we don’t, and they’re moving to a bigger, badder location.
Starting Friday, December 8th, Friday Night Frights will now be held at the Studio Movie Grill in Addison, TX. The first screening in the new theater will be a double feature, just in time for Christmas, of actual 35mm prints of Phantasm and Silent Night, Deadly Night; how many other places show stuff that cool for horror fans? I don’t know about you, but I would love to see Phantasm on the big screen in all its yellow-blooded glory! Which takes us back to the me hating you thing…
They’ll also be showing of a bit from the forthcoming AFI DVD, Heard a Voice, thanks to their sponsors at Interscope Records. Horror and rock in one night? What’s not to love? Hit the MySpace page for Friday Night Frights here for more info!
