Jeffrey Reddick to Make Directorial Debut with The Final Reel

Jeffrey Reddick has a lot of horror cred under his belt as a writer, having created the Final Destination franchise as well as penning the scripts for films like Tamara, Day of the Dead (2008), and many others. Now he’s about to step behind the camera for his first feature, The Final Reel, and we have all the early details right here.
Per THR, The Final Reel will center on a director who can manipulate reality through film and torments the residents of a small town by bringing their darkest fears to life. Reddick will write the screenplay in addition to directing.
Matt Nicholas will produce via his new production company, Rebel Maverick. Reddick recently wrote and directed the short film Good Samaritan starring Rainn Wilson.
