UGO’s Top 50 Hotties of Horror!

It’s nasty fun!

Let’s face it… some movies in our genre are only good for two things: blood and boobs. There’s nothing wrong with that, as both can redeem even the sorriest of motion pictures. But with so many horror movies floating around out there, how do we know which ones have the hottest of the hotties?

Good thing UGO opened up their Top 50 Hotties of Horror countdown, and it is something else. Not only does the list do justice to many of the memorable babes of blood, but it also brings up not-so-classic horror flicks that you may want to rent this Halloween to tear apart with your friends!

Mike Phalin

Since 1997, Michael Patrick Phalin has been a contributing writer to various websites including Dread Central, iMockery, Bloody Disgusting and KrytenSyxx. During the early 1980s, Phalin's love of the movie industry was fueled by the VHS tapes he found during his time spent at the video rental store his mother worked at. Rather than attending a daycare regularly, young Michael would form a tower of tapes with interesting cover art and go watch each one, the very first of these being the original 'A Nightmare on Elm Street.' From that point he was hooked on horror and the process behind creating special effects. In his twenties, Mike met Steve 'Uncle Creepy' Barton and was soon aiding the horror website Dread Central with film reviews. As the site grew in popularity, Phalin soon started writing news stories and conducting interviews on a daily basis. After a few years, he decided to take a break from writing to focus on other opportunities. After moving to a beach community with his wife Michelle, both were cast to appear in the final season of A&E's home improvement show 'Fix This Yard' in 2013. This event rekindled Mike's love of the entertainment industry. Between the time he spends being with his family, Michael continues to contribute to Dread Central both with writing and photography. In his mid-thirties, Phalin took up oil painting after being inspired by an episode of Bob Ross. Pieces of his artwork and photography can be found on his Tumblr and official website.

Obviously Pelusa has never seen Logan’s Run.

I have Sirand… and you are right, Jenny Aguter is rather (*cough, cough*) hot in that one too, but only because she had a half descent pair of legs and wears a short skirt throughout the entire film.

So, other than getting her tits out in AWiL and showing her legs in “Logan’s Run”, what else has Jenny Aguter done to deserve being deemed a horror hottie?

      Brought peace?

      Oh, fuck off!

  • PelusaMG

Amanda Donohoe in “Lair of the White Worm”.

Nancy Loomis in “Halloween”… esp. those scenes where all she is wearing is a white shirt!

Adrienne Barbeau in “The Fog”… very sexy!!

Jamie Leigh Curtis… of course, but only if you keep in mind that stripper scene from “True Lies” :-p

Weak fuckin’ list and 80% of those movies were in the last 5 years (not to mention downright horrendous). Paris Hilton, Jessica Beil, and Jessica Alba? Gimme a fuckin’ break! Someone give that guy a horror education.

We should do our own and show em how its done. Barbara Steel…Vampira…Christina Lindberg….Barbara Crampton…

      how bout Fay Wray?

I’ll give them some respect for remembering Jenny Aguter from “American Werewolf in London” and Linnea Quigley from “Return of the Living Dead” though.

      • PelusaMG

Jenny Aguter’s only in because she got her (very nice at the time) tits out in the shower in AWiL… Other than that, she’s a plain ol’ Jane-o IMO (unless someone suggests reasons to the contrary).

what can i say, i loves me a brit accent on a hot nurse….on a LOOSE hot nurse!

I’m with Sirand. Looks like they just thought of sexy girls and then clicked IMDB to see if they were in a horror movie. There were movies before the 80’s, just so you know.
And while you’re making a real top 50, let me throw Caroline Munro from Captain Kronos in there.

If Barbara Crampton isn’t on the list, they lost me right there. She’s easily Top 5. Have these people ever seen From Beyond? Sheesh.

“We should do our own and show em how its done.”

      Oh dear god.
