Factory Entertainment, Inc., the Concord, California-based producer of licensed toys and collectibles, will be unveiling a brand new and proprietary concept February 14th through the 17th at New York Toy Fair 2015 called SWAT™: Soft Weapons and Tactics.

Read on for the all the details, and if you’re attending Toy Fair, be sure to stop by Factory’s booth, #4952, to see SWAT in action.

From the Press Release:
SWAT™ captures the fun of thematically stylized fantasy weapons, but executed in soft, safe for work and play materials, with sounds specifically tailored to each piece, and is intended for ages 8+. MSRPs range from $9.99 to $39.99.

Factory Entertainment plans to release a wide range of genre-specific SWAT™ items, the first of which, Zombie SWAT™, will be shown at New York Toy Fair and capitalizes on the global pop culture phenomenon of zombies. The initial arsenal consists of the following zombie-fighting weapons:

  • Butcher Knife
  • Machete
  • Nail-Studded Baseball Bat
  • Chainsaw

Each Zombie SWAT™ soft weapon features a series of sounds created specifically for each piece. When activated, the Chainsaw roars to life, while the sound of the undead is heard in the background. The “thwack” of the Nail-Studded Baseball Bat is pleasingly present while warding off the nearing apocalypse, and the Machete “swooshes” cleanly through a broad path of carnage. For close range, the Butcher Knife’s sharp “snikt” delights as it chops down those who seek to chomp “BRAAAAAINS!”

“One of our goals is to anticipate demand,” said Barry Eldridge, Creative Director of Factory Entertainment. “We’ve all read headlines of various diseases running rampant, and we believe that it’s only a matter of time until the zombie outbreak hits!” Eldridge continued, “With our Zombie SWAT™ soft weapons, training to defend yourself from all things ‘Z’ has never been more easy and fun! Wait, do you hear that? Something’s coming… AHHHHHH!”

Mr. Eldridge was unavailable for further comment.

For more information be sure to stop by Factory Entertainment’s booth at New York Toy Fair, #4952. The invitation is open to anyone brave enough to take up the call to soft-arms.
