Trio Joins Steam Experiment

Val Kilmer, Patrick Muldoon, and Armand Assante are three men with one thing in common: They’ve all joined the cast of an indie thriller called The Steam Experiment, a new directorial project for prolific producer Philippe Martinez according to THR.
Kilmer will play a former university professor who grabs six hostages and locks them inside a Turkish bath, slowly increasing the temperature to prove a point about the chaos the world will find itself in due to global warming. He tells a detective (Assante) that he’ll reveal the location of the bath as soon as his theory shows up as a front-page headline in the local newspaper.
As demands go, that’s not really asking for a helluva lot, is it? The plan, Martinez says, is for an “interesting journey into the darkness of human nature when confronted with a crisis situation.” Filming is under way in Grand Rapids, MI of all places; keep it here for updates as they come down!
