The most celebrated and wonderful holiday in the history of mankind, Halloween, is approaching us quicker than I think any of use realize and with the holiday comes the hauntings. The best place to experience real terror this season? Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights!
Kicking off on October 3rd, Halloween Horror Nights will run 13 days, including Saturday, November 1st. A recent press release details all the new horrors added to the theme park this year. Check it out!
“Nightmare on Elm Street: Home Sweet Hell”, a painstaking recreation of the Krueger house at 1428 Elm Street. The maze promises to “incorporate live re-enactments of never-before-presented nightmare sequences from the classic film series and will follow a storyline that will be recognizable to fans of “The Nightmare on Elm Street ” films”
“Terror Tram: The Nightmare Tour”, now expanded to double the length of its previous incarnations, and will ”incorporate a series of spine-chilling mazes, treks through the timeless set from “Psycho,” and a walk through the tortured landscape of “War of the Worlds” set into a unique and unforgettable experience that will raise the bar of terror to a level that only an authentic Hollywood studio can equal.”
“Friday the 13th: Camp Blood” and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Back in Business” will both have amped-up fear quotients, and will now be populated by characters from The Strangers, who will haunt designated “scare zones”
There’s a lot more going down in the one theme park that really knows how to make the most of Halloween, so be sure to check out the official Halloween Horror Nights site for the fully skinny!
