VIZ and Halo 8 Taking Part in WonderCon!

Planning to attend this weekend’s WonderCon in San Francisco? We recently got word from two of our favorite entities that they’ll be there as well!

First up is VIZ Media, who will be at the show as an exhibitor this year in Booth #835. VIZ will be highlighting its two expanding imprints: VIZ Signature and VIZ Kids. VIZ Signature is the company’s outlet for classic and literary manga titles aimed at more mature and sophisticated readers while VIZ Kids (as its name implies) is designed for younger readers. Be sure to stop by their booth, and tell ’em DC sent you!

On Saturday, February 28, from 1:30-2:30 pm, Halo-8 Entertainment is taking part in WonderCon’s “Comic Books and Indie Movies” panel and will be providing for fans:

An exclusive preview clip from the upcoming illustrated film Godkiller starring Lance Henriksen, Bill Moseley, and Tiffany Shepis (which we first told you about here).

A preview clip from Xombie: Dead on Arrival, the mega-popular flash-animated series by James Farr that spawned the Devil’s Due comic book series Xombie: Reanimated. The DVD hits stores on March 31, 2009, but Halo-8 will have a limited number of DVDs available on-site for the event.

A trailer for David Gregory’s new horror film Plague Town, which involves a horde of bloodthirsty mutant children and has generated a good bit of positive buzz.

WonderCon is being held at Moscone Center South on February 27 through March 1.
